How you take and shape the step into your shared future is an expression of your personalities and a sign of your deep bond. Your wedding celebration at Hugenpoet aims to reflect exactly this and provide the appropriate setting for your vision of the most beautiful day of your life. Our halls and salons are perfectly suited for nothing less than a dream wedding with special moments for eternity.
The Red Salon at Hugenpoet impresses with its opulent colors, the ancestral gallery of the von Fürstenberg family, and a small conglomerate fireplace. The salon has an area of 42 m2 and is designed for a maximum of 18 guests at an oval table.
On the south side of the 60 m2 Green Salon is the Troy fireplace, a large Horster pictorial fireplace. The Green Salon can also be ideally reserved in combination with the Fireplace Room and used for receptions or as a finale with dancing.
Located behind the Fireplace Room, the Right Winter Garden offers a view of the expansive castle park with old trees. The Winter Garden has a total size of 55 m2 and is recommended for festive banquets or as a bad-weather alternative for the reception, should it not be possible to hold it in the castle park.
The centerpiece of the 90 m2 Fireplace Room is the "Cain and Abel" fireplace, which formerly belonged to the furnishings of Horst Castle. The Fireplace Room is connected by French doors to the Right Winter Garden and the Green Salon. These three rooms can be ideally combined, thus offering space for up to 100 people and a spacious dance floor, for example.
Our largest event room at Hugenpoet is the Grand Ballroom on the 1st floor, measuring 120 m2, with historic oak parquet flooring. Large windows offer a beautiful view of the castle park and create a bright, inviting atmosphere. The foyer in front of the Grand Ballroom, with an adjoining billiard room, is recommended for use during your reception.
Villa Türmchen in the castle's outer bailey is an exclusive location, perfectly suited for the bride's dressing or for intimate and private wedding celebrations with up to 10 guests.
The Laurushaus features its own kitchen and a light-filled winter garden. Up to 20 guests can be seated in the living room of the former tithe barn. The spacious terrace is recommended for receptions in summer.
Planning a wedding is exciting, but also full of details – after all, your celebration should be perfect for you and your guests. We have therefore answered the most important questions about a wedding at Schlosshotel Hugenpoet for you. For anything beyond that, we are personally available to assist you every step of the way.
We would be happy to welcome you personally to view our premises for your dream wedding. We gladly offer viewing appointments on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
To give you enough time to decide, we will reserve your desired date for up to 2 calendar weeks.
For all evening events, we have set a curfew of 2:00 AM. From midnight onwards, we charge a night surcharge of EUR 300.00 per hour.
Unfortunately, civil ceremonies are not possible at Hugenpoet. We are happy to offer free ceremonies in our chapel, in the park, or in our halls and salons.
Our wedding packages are bookable for a minimum of 30 people. You can view our packages on our homepage.
For weddings with dancing, the hotel rooms adjacent to the event space are automatically reserved for you and are an integral part of our offer.
It is possible to set off fireworks until 10:00 PM. We would be happy to recommend an external service provider for this.
Yes. A plate fee of EUR 3.50 per person applies here.
Children are always welcome here. Upon request, we are happy to arrange a babysitter or childcare.
For culinary accompaniment, you are in the best hands with our kitchen team. External catering is not possible.
For musical accompaniment and the evening's conclusion, our recommended musicians are happy to provide appropriate sound and lighting equipment.
We are happy to accommodate if there are vegetarians or allergy sufferers among your guests and will prepare appropriate alternatives for them.
We assume a minimum turnover for food and beverages, which varies depending on the booked room. If this is not met, the difference will be charged as a room rental fee. Additional services such as flowers, hotel rooms, and night surcharge are not included in the minimum spend.
Upon acceptance of the offer, a deposit of EUR 1,000.00 is due. 4 weeks before the event, a further deposit of 50% of the calculated total amount is due, and 2 weeks before the event, another 30% is due. For a calculated total amount exceeding EUR 5,000.00, the remaining balance must be settled up to 5 days before the event. After the wedding, we will send you an invoice within one calendar week, deducting the deposit already paid.
