Even though we do not have our own golf course right on the property, our guests benefit from the fact that there are four very different courses in the immediate vicinity. This allows us to offer the perfect experience for golfers of all skill levels: from challenging and athletic courses to introductory golf, practice on the driving range, and preparation for the course proficiency exam.

Our “My Tee Time” package combines an overnight stay in an elegant double room with a golfing experience at two select courses in the region. You can choose between the Hösel Golf Club on the outskirts of Düsseldorf and the Essen-Heidhausen Golf Club. Both clubs are just a short drive from Hugenpoet and offer excellent conditions for a round of golf that is both relaxing and physically challenging.

With “My Tee Shot – From Castle to Castle,” we’re offering something truly special. Here, our guests play at the Essen Golf Club Haus Oefte, whose clubhouse is located in a castle. This overnight package combines two historic venues in a particularly charming way:
Play golf in a stylish setting during the day, enjoy a light lunch at the clubhouse restaurant “Zum grünen Löwe,” and savor a three-course dinner at our “bistro in der remise” in the evening, complete with a welcome drink. This turns your round of golf into a well-rounded mini-vacation experience.
Hösel Golf Club
The Hösel Golf Club is only about a seven-minute drive from Hugenpoet and is one of the most versatile courses in the region. Hubbelrath Golf Club
Located about 17 minutes from our castle hotel, the Hubbelrath Golf Club is one of Germany’s most renowned golf courses. The 36-hole course is particularly appealing to ambitious players, as it demands precision, distance, and strategic thinking. The East Course is considered particularly challenging, while the West Course complements the offerings and ensures a high-class, highly varied golfing experience. Essen-Heidhausen Golf Club
The Essen-Heidhausen Golf Club is about an 18-minute drive away and, with its 27-hole Bundesliga course, offers a challenging yet scenically beautiful golfing experience. Its location in the south of Essen within a scenic conservation area gives the course a special charm. Thanks to the various 18-hole combinations, the club is suitable for both experienced golfers and guests who value high-quality play and a natural setting.
