Our calendar of events for the run-up to Christmas is packed to the brim. We’d like to highlight some of the highlights here – from the popular St Nicholas Market in the illuminated castle grounds to the concert at the Concept Store. And if you’re looking for new ideas for your company Christmas party, you’re guaranteed to find something to suit you here at Hugenpoet.

Advent Soirée with Heinrich Cuipers  

Welcome to the Advent Soirée with Heinrich Cuipers. The popular actor will entertain you in a most charming manner between courses of your meal. Look forward to whimsical, contemplative and amusing pieces for the festive season, recited from texts by Bertolt Brecht, Dieter Hüsch, Rainer Maria Rilke and Jacques Brel, amongst others. And, of course, Loriot will also be featured. The evening will be accompanied by cellist Katharina Jacob.

Winter Magic in the Courtyard

A Christmassy reception in Hugenpoet’s festively decorated courtyard. This package is designed for groups of 15 or more. We’ll welcome you to our Christmassy hut in the courtyard for an atmospheric aperitif with mulled wine and canapés. On request, the reception can be customised with a range of add-ons.

St Nicholas Market at Hugenpoet

The St Nicholas Market at Hugenpoet is a much-loved tradition for us and delights our guests year after year. The illuminated castle grounds provide a picturesque backdrop as you stroll past the festively decorated huts and pagoda tents. Be inspired by the exhibitors’ gift ideas and enjoy mulled wine, punch and other drinks, as well as delicious snacks at our food stalls.

The singer and guitarist Yannik WB has become a good friend who regularly gives concerts at Hugenpoet – or, as in this case, at the Hugenpoet & Friends concept store & deli in Essen Rüttenscheid. Look forward to a winter concert featuring songs that will touch your heart.

Christmas Tea Party

Surprise your colleagues or business partners with a Christmas party with a difference – in the stylish surroundings of the Grüner Salon or the Kaminzimmer.

We offer our Christmas Tea Party for groups of 15 or more.

LAURUShaus Unplugged with Yannik WB

A pre-Christmas musical event awaits you at the LAURUShaus, where singer and guitarist Yannik WB will be performing a winter-themed unplugged concert. Enjoy a relaxing evening in a cosy atmosphere. A welcome drink is included in the ticket price. Small plates of biscuits can be booked on the day.

Our concept store in Essen Rüttenscheid will help you forget the pre-Christmas shopping rush.
